Cookie policy
Last updated: July 2026
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser to remember information about your visit (preferences, session, statistics and so on).
2. Does this site use cookies?
No. Espurna Studio installs no analytics, tracking, advertising or social media cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or anything like it, and we do not build browsing profiles. That is why you will not see a cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.
This applies to this site. The demo builds you can open from here
(espurna.studio/demos/…) are independent sites with their own
behaviour: see section 5.
2 bis. A counter, and exactly what it counts
This site runs its own counter, on its own server, to know how many people reach each part of the page. It is not a cookie and nothing like one: it stores nothing in your browser.
All that is stored, and this is literally all of it, is a daily total:
{ "2026-08-12": { "llega": 143, "precios": 61, "enviado": 4 } }
It does not store your IP address —not in full, not truncated, not hashed— nor your browser, your language, where you came from, the time of day or any identifier. It does not store anyone’s path either: the steps are added up separately, so those numbers cannot tell you “this person did this and then that”. We know 143 arrived and 4 wrote in; we do not know who, and there is no way to find out afterwards.
That is why there is still no banner: with no personal data there is no consent to ask for (GDPR, art. 4.1). And that is why there is nothing there you could ask us to delete: no row in it is yours.
3. Strictly necessary cookies
Where strictly necessary, the site may use a technical cookie required for it to work correctly or securely. Cookies of this kind are exempt from the consent requirement under current legislation and are not used to track you.
We do store one value in your browser’s local storage
(espurna.viaje.completo): the date you finished the journey through the
solar system. It does exactly one thing — if you come back, the transitions run faster
so you don’t have to sit through the whole film again — and it expires after 30
days. It is not a cookie, it never reaches the server, it holds no identifier
and it is not used for measurement or profiling. You can remove it by clearing the
site’s data in your browser.
And if you press «Stop the motion» in the header, a second value is
stored (espurna.movimiento.parado) to remember that choice on your next
visit and not animate the scene again unless you ask for it. It is a plain «yes»,
with no date and no identifier, and it disappears as soon as you turn the animation
back on or clear the site’s data.
4. Third-party services
On this site, fonts and every other asset are served from our own domain, with no calls to external servers that could install cookies (the demo builds in section 5 are a separate case). The site is hosted by Hostinger, which may log technical server data (such as your IP address) for security and operational purposes, never for advertising.
5. The demo builds (/demos/)
From this site you can open several demo builds, which load in a new
tab under espurna.studio/demos/…. They are samples of our work using
fictional brands and they run independently, so it is worth knowing that the
following does happen there:
- Some demos store preferences in your own browser (the language you picked, or whether you have already dismissed a notice). This is local storage: it never leaves your device and is exempt from consent as strictly necessary.
- The demo with an admin panel uses a technical session cookie while you are inside that panel. It is deleted when you close the browser and does nothing but keep you signed in.
-
No demo loads anything from third parties. Until 13 August 2026 two
of them embedded a Google map; those were removed along with the rest of the contact
details, because a demo for an invented business should not point at a real place.
Since then there are no maps, no external fonts and no images from other servers:
everything the demos request comes from
espurna.studio.
None of this is used to profile you or for advertising, and it does not affect browsing this site: it only happens if you open a demo.
6. How to manage cookies
Even though this site installs no non-essential cookies, you can set your browser to block or delete any cookie at any time from its privacy settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and so on).
If we ever add analytics or third-party cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent beforehand.
